About Us
Corgin Homes is a specialty joint venture of small businesses that includes custom home design and construction, short-term rental properties, and real estate services. We design, build, and operate spaces that are part of our story and part of our family.

We are a family business led by a husband and wife pair who are 3rd generation home builders. Our history gives us soul and a deep respect for spaces that last, homes that we stand behind, and businesses that put people first. We approach our work with reverence and a strong sense of responsibility to people.

We give our projects deep thought and design with love to create spaces that are both functional and beautiful. Our properties flow more like art than a construction project. ​

Richard has spent nearly two decades in the United States Air Force serving his country. He brings a deep sense of purpose and loyalty to our business and lays the foundation for success with his knowledge and strength. He is a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy with a BS in Systems Engineering. He also holds an MS in Engineering Management from Oklahoma State University. Richard's role with Corgin Homes is as a property manager, licensed real estate broker, and construction support to general contractors (mostly he keeps Andrea sane). He is also a Senior Principal Systems Engineer for a defense contractor and a Nuclear and Missile Operations Officer in Air Force Reserve.
Andrea has been around building homes all her life learning from her (slightly unhinged) parents. She was born with the "how hard can it be gene" having inherited it from both parents. You will rarely find her far from her mom Alyce when it comes to a business venture. She has an eye for beauty and peace as well as a head for numbers and spatial arrangement helping to make our projects an extraordinary blend of livable and functional. She is a graduate of University of Northern Colorado with a BS in Sport and Exercise Science. She also holds an MA in Business from Colorado State University. Andrea's role with Corgin Homes is as a licensed general contractor and property manager
Alyce and David are the original duo when it comes to blue ocean business ideas. It all started when 26 year old Alyce and David toured a builder model home and David turned to Alyce and said "we could build this." The rest is really history. From buying 40 acres of land from the original homesteader on a handshake deal to raise their family on to surviving the Great Recession they really are the special sauce to our success. Despite best efforts to aid them in their retirement, they seem to keep showing up and we will keep them as long as they want to stay.
Last but not least our crew of kids and corgis makes all of this fun and purpose driven. They remind us of what really matters and melt away the problems of even our hardest days (and there are a lot those when it comes to construction!).
