Make any visit complete by staying at this relaxing retreat style home. Designed and built from the ground up 6 years ago this home is full of hand crafted details and amazing features. We have art and furniture from local artists and craftsman (some of which is available for purchase) as well as a number of hand painted murals outside and inside. In the spring, summer, and fall months the property boasts an attractive flower and vegetable garden. Some of the flowers are cut for a local cut flower business and the vegetable garden is available for guests to pick from. Guests are also offered a cut flower bouquet for their stay if they desire. Enjoy the sprawling yard, flower garden, one of a kind hand built play set, or fire pit while outside. Our living room features a 10' sliding door that opens to a covered porch that spans the entire front of the house complete with table and chairs with direct access to the front yard with string lights and fire pit. The upstairs living area opens to a deck with panoramic views and a full swinging day bed. Our bedrooms feature comfy beds, nooks and chairs for working or reading, blackout shades, and a small kids toy collection. Bathrooms feature beautiful tile work, granite counters, and a spa style free standing tub and oversized shower with dual showerheads in the primary bedroom en suite. The fully equipped kitchen is open to the dining and main level living areas making it a great space to gather for a meal or games. Pets are welcome with approval. Our pet fee covers up to two pets. If you have more, please inquiry for special approval. Dogs can enjoy the dog pen that offers a dog door to the dog run or they can play safely in the entirely fenced yard. This home is a great location close to Monument and Palmer Lake but also less than 5 minutes to shopping, dinning, and entertainment in north Colorado Springs (US Air Force Academy, Top Golf, indoor skydiving, Ford Amphitheater, Mining Museum, Bass Pro). The four digit door code is sent via message. Enter the door code on the front door keypad to unlock (no need to press lock button).

When leaving push the lock icon (ensure door is closed firmly).

The WiFi password is on the fridge.

The wall mounted AC mini splits for cooling only. If you have a issue with them, please do not tamper with them, and call or text me. Traditionally mini splits are meant to be used on demand, so set turn them off while you are away. I have left them on to a moderate temp for your arrival. They do use electricity, so we ask you to be conscientious of that.

The thermostats for are heating only.

The freezer door must be closed firmly or the freezer will not be able to keep some foods frozen. Ensure nothing is in the way of the door and it is pushed shut properly every time.

There is no smoking of any kind allowed inside.

The stove is an induction stove so a pot of the right size (approximately) must be in contact with the burner in order for it to work.

There are 4 bedrooms and 5 beds (1 in each room and 1 room has two beds in it). The living room couch is a double bed if desired. Just remove cushions and make it as a bed. Linens for it are in the master closet.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I control the air conditioning minisplits? The controllers are near the doors, and the temperature is controlled using the arrow keys.
How do I control the heat? Use the thermostats located in the stairwell, master bathroom, and upstairs loft. The house uses radiant floor heat, so it will take several minutes to heat the house.
Do you allow pets? Yes, up to two well behaved dogs or cats for a $100 pet fee.
Do you charge for emotional support animals? Yes. Emotional support animals follow the same rules as all other pets.
Do you charge for service animals? No. However, you and your service animal must follow all of the ADA requirements, which include "service animals be under the control of the handler at all times" and "if a service animal is out of control and the handler does not take effective action to control it, staff may request that the animal be removed from the premises." Can I leave my pet(s) unattended? Yes, they must be kept in kennel inside for no more that 6 hours. Do not leave your pets outside for an extended period of time. Do not let them bark excessively. The neighbors call animal law enforcement, and you will be ticketed and fined.
Can I possess or use cannabis or other drugs on your property? No. All Schedule I drugs are federally illegal regardless of state law. https://www.dea.gov/drug-information/drug-scheduling All guests will be removed and banned from the property and all other Corgin Homes properties. The owner is an officer for the Federal Government within the Department of Defense.
What if I damage something in the house? Please let us know as soon as possible. This will help ensure your stay and all following stays meet our high standards.
